出生於四川省成都市，中國女歌手。參與湖南衛視《2005年超級女聲》比賽獲得季軍，演唱多首影視主題曲包括《畫心》、《終於等到你》、《天下無雙》等，並憑電影《畫皮》主題曲《畫心》獲得第28屆香港電影金像獎最佳原創電影歌曲。

彼は、Hunan Satellite TVの「2005 Super Girl」コンペティションで3位を獲得し、「Painted Heart」、「Finally Waiting for You」、「Unparalled in the World」、その他など、多くの映画やテレビのテーマソングを歌い、28番目の香港映画賞「Painted Heart」で最高のオリジナル映画の曲を獲得しました。

15歳から成都のバーで専属歌手として6年間働き、昼間は学校に通い、夜はバーで歌っていました。2003年、独学で四川大学外国語学院の英語科に入学し、合格しました。2004年には「光星全国大学生歌手選抜大会」で全国優勝を果たし、同年には「京都年吉安PUB歌手大会」でも再び全国優勝を果たしました。

2019年4月27日、ジェーン・チャンは7枚目のスタジオアルバム「Past Progressive」をリリースしました。これは彼女にとって初の全編英語アルバムです。このアルバムの制作には5年を要しました。2024年には「Music Fate Project」のエピソード1～4に参加し、「Catchphrase」「Knowingly Asking」「I Really Want to Forget You Now」「Let Me Go」を披露しました。
